The mission of Motor Transportation is to provide efficient, economical and safe motor vehicle services to the National Capitol Region.
*Garrison Mobile Equipment (GME) shall be restricted to
“OFFICIAL USE ONLY”. Transportation by government vehicles is for official purposes and will not be provided in those cases where the justification is based solely on reasons of grade, prestige, or personal convenience. The use of Motor Vehicles, whether on a full-time or trip basis, is not authorized for private business or personal social engagements.
*Officers that request to drive, must have written approval by the Installation Commander to operate a government vehicle per MCO 11240.106B
*Any and all Persons requesting to operate a government vehicle must posses a valid state driver’s license, military or DOD ID and if under the age of 26,a driver’s improvement card (DIC).
