Community Support Network

The Community Support Network connects wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers, Veterans, their Families, and Caregivers with local organizations that support them throughout their recovery and transition to life post-injury.

Registration

Organizations interested in supporting wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers, Veterans, their Families, and Caregivers and adding their name to the Community Support Network Directory should complete the registration form.

How is this network unique from other networks? To be included in the Community Support Network, the services or products offered are either free, covered by insurance, or significantly reduced in price with all costs being disclosed up front and prior to any agreement between the organization and all wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers, Veterans, their Families, and Caregivers.

Directory of Services and Resources

The impact Community Support Network organizations have on our population is difficult to measure; in fact, it is priceless. Participants in the Community Support Network are local organizations which offer a wide variety of products and services to wounded, ill, and injured Soldiers, Veterans, their Families, and Caregivers to help them with their transition and adjustment to their new normal. Products and service resources include:

National Resource Directory

The National Resource Directory (NRD) External Link, Opens in New Window is a website for wounded, ill, and injured servicemembers, Veterans, their Families and those who support them. The NRD is a partnership among the Departments of Defense, Labor, and Veterans Affairs, and it contains information from more than 10,000 resources, including: federal, state, and local government agencies; Veterans service and benefit organizations; non-profit and community-based organizations; academic institutions, and professional associations that provide assistance to wounded warriors and their Families.
