Locations
The Sheridan VAMC serves Veterans across Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain Region. In addition to our main Medical Center in Sheridan, five Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) are strategically located around the state to provide services closer to your home. The CBOCs are located in: Casper, Gillette, Riverton, Rock Springs, and Powell, Wyoming. One outreach clinic is located in Afton/Star Valley and two Primary Care Telehealth Outreach Clinics (PCTOC) are located in Evanston and Worland.
Waiting Areas
For your convenience and safety, we have special waiting areas throughout the facility. Please do not gather in the hallways or at the nurses' stations. You may also want to review our Visiting Hours and Policies.
Security
The Sheridan VAMC has a full Police Service. Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots. For general police assistance, please dial 3333. In case of an emergency, dial 911. Report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses to the VA Police while on the facility grounds as soon as possible. The VA Police are located in Building 9 on the first floor.
Because the VA Medical Center is federal property, all persons and bags are subject to search. In addition, no weapons, alcohol, or illegal drugs are permitted.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found is located in in the medical clinic area, first floor of Building 71. If you have lost an item while a patient, please ask a nurse on your unit to assist you.
Chapel
A nondenominational Chapel is located on the first floor of building 7. Protestant Worship Services are held each Sunday. Please contact the Chaplin for more information at ext. 3633.
