Volunteerism brings Airman applause

Leadership honors
Secretary of the Air Force Michael Donley was at Maxwell May 21 to present his office’s annual leadership awards to four outstanding Air University students.
The winners of the 2010 Secretary of the Air Force Leadership awards are: Col. Robert Campbell, Air War College; Maj. Travis Edwards, Air Command and Staff College; Capt. Max Johnson, Squadron Officer School; Master Sgt. Paul Martin, Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy.

University Inn wins ‘suite’ AETC award
Brenda Hartley, University Inn lead front desk clerk, and Beannye Butts, front desk manager, hand Master Sgt. Glenn Clark his room key on Tuesday.
The University Inn, part of the 42nd Force Support Squadron, won the Large Base Category 2010 Air Education and Training Command’s Innkeeper Award. University Inn provides Five-Diamond service to more than 55,000 guests annually and maintains about 2,300 rooms.
