Copayments
The US Department of Veterans Affairs has established guidelines for veterans and their copayments. Copayments may be charged for the following services —

Any copayments due should be paid upon receipt of the first billing statement.  Account payments may be made at the Agent Cashier window, First Floor, Main Hospital, across from the Pharmacy interview booths).  Veterans may pay on their account with cash, personal check, or a credit card.  They may also make payments via the mail or by phoning in a credit card payment to 513-861-3100 extension 4163.

Billing statements are printed on the 24th of each month and sent to the veteran’s address of record within 30 days after their stay or appointment.

If you have any questions about your account, please contact the First Party Call Center toll-free, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 7 PM Central Time, at 1-866-812-0318.

Other Health Insurance
The Department of Veterans Affairs now bills private health insurance companies for care received by their enrollees. You should bring your insurance card with you for your appointment and present it during the check-in process. What's in it for me?

Medicare/Medicaid
The Department of Veterans Affairs does not bill Medicare or Medicaid at this time. You may, however, wish to review Medicare part D and VA Prescription Drug Benefits Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
