American Corners
American Corners are partnerships between the Public Affairs sections of U.S. Embassies and host institutions. They provide access to current and reliable information about the U.S. via book, video, and DVD collections, the Internet, and through local programming to general public. Corners serve as regional resource centers for information and programs highlighting American culture, history, current events, and government.

The American Corners in Podgorica and Pljevlja are made available through joint efforts of the US Embassy of Podgorica and authorities of Podgorica and Pljevlja respectively. The host institution in Podgorica is Cultural Information Center Budo Tomovic, and in Pljevlja - Municipal Department for Construction and Development. The Corners grow rapidly in membership and popularity among English speaking Montenegrins.
