Minimum Requirements for Consideration
General: Experience, education or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field.
Specialized: 36 months experience in the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) as listed below. Such experience is gained in a line of work similar or closely related to the work of the position to be filled. A maximum of 12 months of the required experience may be substituted by successful completion of undergraduate study in an accredited college or university at the rate of 30 semester hours for 12 months of experience. The education must have been in fields directly related to the type of work of the position to be filled:
• Ability to review, analyze and interpret logistical directives and procedural instructions.
• Knowledge of administrative, regulatory requirements related to conducting surveys and studies, inventory management and property reconciliation.
• Skill in determining supply costs, planning and budgeting, and evaluating supply performance management.
• Ability to perform supervisory duties.
• Skilled in evaluating the effect of new supply and services programs on funding requirements and develops or participates in the development of justification for budget submission.
• Knowledge of computers, familiarity of Supply Systems (i.e., PBUSE, SARSS, and IMAP).
• Knowledge of warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials/waste and environmental programs
Compatibility Requirements
Selected individual must be assigned to a compatible military position in the following MOS/AOC within ninety (90) days of effective date of hire: Officer OAOC: 01A; Warrant Officer: 011A. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised.
Summary of Duties
This position is located in the Supply and Services Division of the United States Property and Fiscal Office (USPFO). Its purpose is to perform comprehensive analysis of logistical procedures, services, directives and the operation of the division. The incumbent compiles, correlates, and submits various reports on logistical functions and provides technical guidance and policy direction for the division. Acts in behalf of the Supply Management Officer when required.
