The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program 2012-2013

American Councils for International Education announces:
The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program (YES)

YES is a program that provides scholarships for secondary school students of Kosovo to spend up to one academic year in the United States; Students live with U.S. host families and attend American high schools. The program is fully funded by the U.S. Government.

Eligible applicants must:

  • be currently enrolled (as of fall 2011)
    in the tenth or eleventh year of
    secondary school
  • demonstrate English language ability
  • be a citizen of Kosovo
  • fulfill all requirements for receiving
    a J-1 visa
  • be born between 1 January 1995
    and 15 July 1997

ROUND 1 TEST

Students should bring:

  • one  3 x 4 cm photo
  • birth certificate, passport
    or other form of personal
    identification
  • a pen
