Consul's Podcast

The Department of State, through its Consular Section at the U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi, provides a range of routine and emergency services for U.S. citizens who live in Georgia or who are just visiting.

We urge you to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) if you will be traveling or living in Georgia so we can better serve you, especially in the case of an emergency or disaster.

The American, or U.S. Citizen Services (ACS) Unit’s assistance includes but is not limited to, passport services, notarial services, and Consular Reports of Births Abroad (CRBA). The Consular Section also assists in emergencies, including deaths, arrests and crisis situations.
