Tram: Tickets cost between 25 piasters and 1 Egyptian pound. Cars run from 5:30 am to midnight (or 1 am in the summer). The three terminal stations are: Sidi Bishr, San Stefano, and Mahatat El Raml.
Trains: There are two train stations in Alexandria. The main train station is Mahatet Misr, or Misr Station (terminal station). The other station is Sidi Gaber station. Tickets may be bought at either station, and trains can be taken as far as Aswan.
Airports: Borg El Arab airport is a 45-minute to hour-long drive from the heart of Alexandria, depending on traffic. El Nozha Airport is currently closed.
