All regular American Citizen Services (ACS) are by appointment only.  Please click on Online Appointments to make your ACS appointment online.  We suggest you read the following requirements before you make an appointment for passport services.

You should follow these requirements if you meet the following criteria:

• You have been previously issued a U.S. passport in your name, AND
• You can submit your previously issued un-mutilated U.S. passport, AND
• You are over the age of 16

Please note: If your previously issued passport was a 5 year validity passport you should use form DS-11; however, if your previous passport was a 10 year validity passport you should use form DS-82.

Application Requirements

• Your current U.S. passport, valid or expired
• Completed passport application form DS-11 or form DS-82
• One passport photograph  
• Passport Fee. The application fee for an applicant using the DS-11 is U.S. $135 or the equivalent in Bangladeshi Taka, while the application fee for an applicant using the DS-82 is U.S. $110 or the equivalent in Bangladeshi Taka. Only cash will be accepted for the payment of fees.

• A consular officer may also request additional documents in support of your application at the time of your application submission.

Processing Time

A passport renewal application for a full-validity, adult ten year passport will be sent to the United States for printing with a secure, photo-digitized image of the bearer. You should be prepared to allow at least two weeks to receive your passport.
