Through educational and cultural programs, we encourage the sharing of ideas between Malaysians and Americans on a wide variety of topics.

The U.S. Embassy in Kuala Lumpur conducts and facilitates educational and cultural exchange programs on behalf of the U.S. Government in Malaysia.  These programs include Study in the U.S., Fulbright Scholar/Student Program, International Visitors Leadership Program, Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation, Citizen Exchanges, Grant Opportunities, English Language Teaching, Study of the U.S. Institutes, among many others.
