Passports
American citizens residing or traveling abroad who wish to renew their passports will be issued the latest, state-of-the-art passports incorporating a photo-digitized image and other enhanced security features. The Embassy estimates that citizens will receive their new passports approximately 7 to 10 working days from the date of submission. Citizens are urged to plan ahead and submit their applications at least two months prior to the expiration date
