Industrial Partnerships Office (IPO) support of the LLNL mission and program goals is built on strong ties to U.S. industry. Our work with industrial partners contributes directly to:

enabling and accelerating the commercialization of LLNL technologies,

enhancing the competitiveness of US industry, and

sustaining LLNL mission-critical manpower and capabilities.

LLNL's research partners benefit from multi-disciplinary research teams of world-class science and engineering talent and research capabilities in high-performance computing and simulations, novel materials, high-energy-density matter, and measurement science and technology.

IPO plays an important role in developing and facilitating partnerships with industry. We identify and structure relationships with industrial partners, and work with companies to navigate and streamline the processes and mechanisms by which LLNL works with industry.
