OFFICE OF SURFACE MINING RECLAMATION AND ENFORCEMENT

Accessibility

Welcome to the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement's (OSM) Accessibility web page. In compliance with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 USC 794d), OSM is committed to making every possible effort to ensure that all information is accessible to people with disabilities, including employees and customers we serve.

The Federal Relay Service (FRS) provides communications assistance to individuals who are deaf, hard-of-hearing, deaf-blind, and/or have speech disabilities and want to communicate with Federal Government agencies. Anyone using a text telephone (TTY) can reach a Federal agency to conduct business by going through the FRS at 1-800-877-8339.

If you want to reach someone at OSM, contact our Office of Communications TTY at (202) 208-2694, during business hours, 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You may also email us at getinfo@osmre.gov.

Some of the publications on www.osmre.gov and OSM related websites are in Portable Document Format (PDF). To view PDF files, you will need to have the Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you experience problems with viewing PDF files, visit our Adobe Acrobat Help page. The free Reader can be downloaded from the Adobe's website.

If you experience any difficulty accessing the information on our website, please contact us at webmaster@osmre.gov. It would help us to expedite your inquiry if you also provide the web address to where the information is located on our website. We will try to assist you as best we can. This may include providing the information to you in an alternate format. For further information about the regulations governing the accessibility of Federal electronic information products or additional services available to you, visit the Section 508 pages listed below. We hope that you find them helpful.
