When disaster strikes an Air Force base, whether a tornado, a flood or an enemy attack, it's imperative to maintain full operational capability. After all, every base has a vital national defense role to play. Emergency Management specialists develop plans and procedures to keep their base working no matter happens. They also run training exercises and simulations to keep base personnel on their toes.
After eight-and-a-half weeks of Basic Military Training, every Airman goes to technical training to learn their career. Here's the basic information about Emergency Management technical training:
