Invitation to Meet with Representatives from the Social Security Administration (SSA)

The U.S. Embassy would like to invite all Americans to meet with representatives from the Social Security Administration (SSA)  in the Jackie Onassis Conference Room of the U.S. Embassy, on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and in Sihanoukville on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. SSA representatives will be available to answer your questions about retirement benefits and other related matters.

• Americans wishing to participate in the event at the Embassy in Phnom Penh on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 must pre-register by sending their first and last names, passport number, and contact number to ACSPhnomPenh@state.gov by May 25, 2012.
• Americans wishing to participate in the event in Sihanoukville on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 must pre-register by sending an RSVP to ACSPhnomPenh@state.gov by May 30, 2012.

The Sihanoukville event will be held at the Aqua Resort from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on June 6, 2012.  The Aqua Resort is located on Street Koh Poulawai (behind Golden Sand Hotel), Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.

We will be offering the following consular services during the Sihanoukville event:

• Notarial services and certified copies ($50);
• Passport renewal applications - please bring your passport and a copy of the biographical page ($110 for an adult passport, $105 for a child’s passport);
• Satisfying monthly appearance requirements for recipients of Social Security benefits; and
• Collection of ballots for absentee voters.
