Business Visa Program

Business Visa Program (BVP)
The U.S. Embassy Dhaka recognizes the importance of bilateral trade and investment to the economies of Bangladesh and the United States.  Facilitating travel will facilitate trade. To this end, the U.S. Embassy Dhaka is pleased to propose a Business Visa Program (BVP) for American Chamber of Commerce affiliated travelers.
BVP makes it easier for employees, spouses and unmarried children under 21 to seek nonimmigrant visitor (B1/B2, H, and L), and education (F) visas. We interview BVP registrants and eligible petition based applicants by appointment on every work day, excluding dates on the Holiday List.
Benefits of the Business Visa Program
Expeditious visa appointments, often within 2-business days
Open to all employees and family members of approved AmCham member companies
Dedicated U.S. Embassy customer service inbox to address any questions
Spouses and unmarried children under 21 are also included if they apply at the same time as the employee, or if the employee already has a visa or is a citizen of a visa waiver country. BVP-registered firms may not submit visa applications for clients, business associates, customers, domestic servants, friends, or other relatives; they must apply in the normal manner by making an appointment online at
How  to Apply.
Please go to http://dhaka.usembassy.gov/bvp.html  and simply fill out a 1-page application
Once your membership with AmCham  is verified and BVP application approved, instructions will be sent to your company representative on how to set up visa appointments
To receive a visa, BVP applicants must be otherwise qualified under all applicable U.S. laws.
