For U.S. Citizen Services, the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy is open Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Embassy is closed on certain Nepalese and American holidays.     

The Embassy is located in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, just south of the Narayan Chowk intersection with Ring Road. The entrance to the Consular Section is to the left of the main entrance.    
    
Please note: Mobile phones and other electronic devices are not permitted inside the Embassy.  If you are carrying your phone with you, you will be required to leave it in a separate area of the Embassy.
