Instructions and Information for Medical Examination Of Immigrant Visa Applicants
Before your immigrant visa interview at the U.S. Embassy, you must obtain a medical examination from an Embassy-designated physician. Two physicians are designated by the U.S. Embassy in Yaounde to perform medical examinations, and you may select either one:*

Located in downtown Yaoundé, Hippodrome, Route de la MAETUR, inside “Forever Living Products” Building, opposite the British High Commission. Consultations are done in English and French, Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Saturdays by appointment only.
You should contact one of these clinics to book an appointment for your medical examination and/or obtain information about testing procedures and fees. Please have your medical examination performed promptly, as we cannot issue a visa without a satisfactory medical report.
NOTE: Medical examinations conducted in connection with immigrant visa applications have a maximum validity of six months. If you cannot arrive in the United States within six months from the date of the medical examination, you may need to repeat the examination.
