Spring 2013 Election

Spring Primary: Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

In-person absentee (early) voting in the clerk's office is from February 4 to 15, 2013.

Spring Election: Tuesday, April 2, 2013.

In-person absentee (early) voting in the clerk's office is from March 18 to 29, 2013.

On the Ballot

State offices to be elected: Superintendent of Public Instruction, Supreme Court Justice, Court of Appeals and Circuit Court.

State Assembly District 98: A Special Election to fill a vacancy will be held concurrently with the 2013 Spring Election.

G.A.B. will certify the candidates at its January 14, 2013 teleconference meeting.

Fall 2012 General Election

General Election Results

The General Election for President, U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative, even-numbered Wisconsin State Senate seats, all Wisconsin Assembly seats, and all District Attorneys was held Tuesday, November 6, 2012. The Government Accountability Board certified official results on November 29, 2012.

At myvote.wi.gov you can register to vote, check your voter registration status, find your polling place, see your sample ballot, request an absentee ballot (military and permenant overseas voters only), and check provisional ballot status.

Voter Photo ID Status: Not Required

Voters do not currently need to show a photo ID to receive a ballot because the voter photo ID provisions of 2011 Wisconsin Act 23 have been enjoined by the courts. The cases are currently on appeal.

New: Online Lobbying Registration

Wisconsin's new Eye on Lobbying website is now available for lobbying principals to register and for lobbyists to obtain licenses for the 2013-2014 Legislative Session. Paper registration forms are no longer necessary.
