    On December 23rd, families from the U.S. Embassy visited the Pabradės Vaikų Globos Namai. As part of the "Toys for Tots" campaign every family and individual at the U.S. Embassy donated toys, games, clothes or other items that was given directly to the children at the orphanage.

    On February 1st, three officers from the Pennsylvania National Guard visited the Simono Daukanto Gymnasium in Vilnius to present a class on the 20 year history of the relationship between the Pennsylvania National Guard and Lithuanian Armed Forces as well as to show the role of citizen-soldiers in the U.S. Army.

    On January 25th, Political Officer Vanna Chan, Political Specialist Renata Dromantaitė and intern Meredith Mantel traveled to Panevežys to visit two schools – the Panevežys Special School and the Panevežys Rožynas Basic School to meet with students as well as commemorate International Holocaust Day.

    On January 21-22, U.S. Human Rights Advocate Cheryl Thomas and Police Lieutenant Scott Jenkins led police seminars in Trakai to share the U.S. legal and practical experience in implementing domestic violence laws.
