How to get to the Embassy

The American Embassy is located at Henrik Ibsens gate 48 (formerly
Drammensveien 18) across from the Palace grounds at the intersection of Henrik
Ibsens gate, Løkkeveien, and Parkveien.
It is a 10 minute walk from the National
Theater along Henrik Ibsens gate in the direction of the Palace and Solli plass,
or from City Hall (Rådhuset) along Dronning Mauds gate.
If you are coming by
train, get off at the National Theater train station and exit through the
Parkveien exit, which is directly across the street from the Embassy. East and
west bound buses/trams on Henrik Ibsens gate stop both at Solli plass and at the
Foreign Ministry - these stops are just a few minutes walk from the Embassy.
