Passports: 

Applications for Zimbabwe passports are made through the Registrar General's district offices.  The cost is $190.00 for a normal passport and $450 for expedited processing.  Below is a list of Zimbabwe District Offices:

Birth Certificates/Death Certificates: 

 Initial birth and death registrations are made through the Home Affairs Offices in each town or city in Zimbabwe.  However, all records are kept at the Home Affairs main office in Harare.  For replacement or verification, all requests must normally be made through the main office in Harare.  Hospitals issue birth and death records after each birth or postmortem, which are used to file for birth and death certificates at the local Home Affairs office.  The initial documents, obtained within 6 weeks from date of issuance are free.  Replacement documents cost $10.00 for an emergency replacement and $5.00 for routine replacement.

Marriage Records/Divorce Decrees:

School records:  

School records are obtained from the ZIMSEC National offices, which are located in Upper East Road, adjacent to the University of Zimbabwe.  The charge for confirmation of results is $5.00 and $60.00 for a replica certificate.  Below are their contact details:

Zimbabwe Police Certificate. 

This information pertains to obtaining a Zimbabwe Police Certificate.  Please note that applications should be made directly to the Zimbabwe Republic Police at the below address.  Centralized criminal records covering all of Zimbabwe are maintained at the Zimbabwe Republic Police, Criminal Investigations Department, P.O. Box CY 683 Causeway, Harare.  The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) issues, upon application, a certificate which indicates whether or not a criminal record exists and particulars of an offense recorded.  Applicants must provide to the ZRP the following information: full name; date and place of birth (town and country); last Zimbabwe residential and business addresses and date and place of entry into Zimbabwe. Former residents of Zimbabwe are required to submit one set of fingerprints. Fees are subject to change without notice. Please confirm with ZRP.
