Town Hall Meetings to Assist Nuclear Weapons Workers |

Staff from the Division of Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation (DEEOIC) will host two town hall meetings on Feb. 20, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. in Espanola, N.M., to discuss the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act (EEOICPA) and the medical benefits provided under the program. In addition, DEEOIC staff will also host two town hall meetings at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the same day to provide former Los Alamos National Laboratory workers with information concerning a new class of employees recently added to the Special Exposure Cohort of the EEOICPA. Staff from DEEOIC's Espanola Resource Center and Seattle District Office will also be available at the town hall meetings from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to assist individuals with questions regarding existing EEOICPA claims and with the filing of new claims under the EEOICPA. |
