Following a speech from the Deputy Chief of Staff of the United Nations Command Major General David Bishop, Seven awards were handed out to members of the Kunsan community who out preformed their peers throughout 2012.

Airmen from the 8th Fighter Wing at Kunsan Air Base and Republic of Korea Airmen from the 38th Fighter Group spend the day learning about each other's jobs and cultures as part of the base initiated job exchange. This job exchange was the first of its kind at Kunsan, and focused on learning about what the other side does on a daily basis. Lessons learned from this exchange will be used in the future to develop an even bigger and more successful event which will cover more careers.
