Women's Health

Women who have served in the Armed Forces are eligible for a variety of veterans benefits. VA actively encourages women to utilize the benefits due them.

The Orlando Women’s Primary Care Clinic offers comprehensive medical services for our female veterans.  Some women’s health care services are also available at our outpatient clinics or community based clinics.

Services offered

  • Comprehensive annual physical examinations for women veterans include primary care as well as gender-specific care.
  • Patient education on health promotion, health maintenance, management of chronic conditions, and gender-specific health care issues are provided by qualified health care personnel.
  • Gynecology, maternity, and limited infertility services (excluding in-vitro fertilization) are included in the medical benefits package for qualified female veterans.
  • Mental Health/Psychiatric Services are provided for women including treatment for PTSD, and military sexual trauma.

Equitable health care services that we are unable to provide in-house are provided by fee basis, academic affiliate or consult service.

The Women’s Health Program is committed to providing comprehensive, equitable care in a safe, private and comfortable environment.
