Authorizing Legislation
The total budget authority for the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) including Special Statutory Funding for Type 1 Diabetes Research is authorized under Sections 301 and 402(a) of the Public Health Service Act and 42§241 and 42§281 of the U.S. Code. The FY 2010 enacted amount is $1,957,364,000 and the FY 2011 budget estimate is $2,007,589,000. Back to 2011 Congressional Justification Request
