Embassy Suva Welcomes Ambassador McGann
On October 29th, local staff at the US Embassy welcome Ambassador Steve McGann in the traditional ceremony of 'na i qaloqalovi'. Complete with presentation of the 'tabua' (whale's tooth), ' i sevusevu' (presentation of kava) and 'yaqona vakaturaga', the ceremony honoured Ambassador McGann's arrival into Fiji as the Embassy's new Chief of Mission.
