Book Discussion on Martin Luther King

To commemorate Martin Luther King’s birthday, the U.S. Embassy recently organized a book discussion with a group of children, youth and young adults from the Santo neighborhood near Port-au-Prince. Participants received their own copy of a French language book published by Nouveaux Horizons titled “La Fête de Martin Luther king.”  Discussion centered around Dr. King’s “I have a dream” speech and several members of the audience openly shared their  personal dreams for a better future, and for a more united, healthy and safer Haiti.
