It is our pleasure to welcome you to the official Yokosuka Middle School website. Our goal is to provide current and relevant information about our school to the military families we serve today and those we look forward to welcoming to our campus in the future.

Yokosuka Middle school was opened in 2003 as a 6 - 8 grade school.

It is located on Yokosuka Navy Base, a 1 hour train ride south from Tokyo and a half hour train ride from Yokohama. It is located on the coast at the mouth of Tokyo bay. Just outside the base is Yokosuka city which has a population of about 400,000.

The school is within walking distance of the Sullivan's Elementary School and Kinnick High School. Our students come from an area covering Yokohama, Ikego, Yokosuka city and the surrounding Kanagawa area. The school has 585-600 students.
