The U.S. Embassy’s EducationUSA Advising office is located at the American Language Center in Amman.

EducationUSA centers promote U.S. higher education around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, objective and timely information about educational opportunities in the United States and guidance to qualified individuals on how to best access those opportunities.

The EducationUSA Advising Center in the American Language Center in Amman provides students, who are interested in studying in the United Sates of America, with the following services in Arabic and English, free of charge:

• Guidance and orientation by a professional educational adviser on the following: Selection of universities, testing (SAT, ACT, TOEFL), available scholarships, application process etc…
• Scholarship Information.
• Information on summer camps and leadership programs.
• Pre-departure orientation workshops.
• Visiting Jordanian high schools and universities to conduct “Advising Seminars” for the local students.
• Scheduling visits for US college representatives.
• Invitations to participate in education fairs.
