Principal's Corner
On behalf of the entire White Tiger family, I would like to welcome you to Yokota Middle School. Our school is located on Yokota Air Force Base in Tokyo Japan. We have approximately 300 students attending our school including dependent children from all branches of the military and civilian personnel. Yokota is a great place to live and our school is proud to be an important part of this community. Our school mission is: "Yokota Middle School is a positive, student-centered learning community dedicated to preparing all students for success in a dynamic global environment." To create a positive student-centered learning environment, our caring staff of teachers, support staff and administration teaches the DODEA prescribed curriculum. Additionally, our staff provides learning opportunities for our students in after school activities. These activities include but are not limited to Cross Country, Jazz Band, Roots and Shoots, Video Club, Science Clubs, Diversity Club, Chess Club, Drama Club, German Club, Math Counts, Art Club, Disneyphiles, Card Making, Morning Mile Club, White Tiger Ambassadors and National Junior Honor Society.
