Non- Immigrant Visas
Children of all ages must be present at the Consulate for the visa interview.
Please bring your family book (original) and if unavailable an unabridged birth certificate.
If one parent is not present at the visa interview, it is recommended that you bring a notarized letter from the absent parent giving authorizing for the child(ren) to travel. Also bring both parents' passports or identity documents. Alternatively, you may wish to bring court documents demonstrating that the applying parent has sole custody of the minor child.
