Professional Experience

Cheri was a Land Law Examiner with BLM before joining USGS in 1993 in Geology’s Office of Mineral Resources. In 1996, Cheri became a Supervisory Technical Editor for the DOI’s Office of Hearings and Appeals. Her responsibilities included compiling and publishing the Index Digests, Department of the Interior Decisions, and OHA manuals. Cheri returned to USGS in 1998 as the Director’s Office Webmaster responsible for maintenance of many Web sites including the USGS intranet, USGS internet support pages, Visual Identity System site, Eastern Region intranet, Employee Recognition site, Native American activities site, and coordination of the HQ/ER Employee Emergency Info page, to name a few.
