Welcome to the Colorado Study Center, led by the University of Colorado’s Colorado School of Public Health in collaboration with the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
The National Children’s Study is the largest long-term study of environmental and genetic influences on children’s health ever conducted in the United States. The Study will include 100,000 children from across the county and will collect information about their health and where they live, learn, and play, from before birth to age 21. It will examine neighborhoods and schools, chemical exposures, food and water, cultural differences, geographic locations, behavior, and other factors that contribute to health. The goal is to improve the health and well-being of all children for generations to come.
