PCSing from Robinson Barracks?
We will miss you. It is important that you notify the school of your family’s departure!
Students may be eligible for acceleration during a Permanent Change of Station (receive credit early for the full semester) if transferring on or after certain dates.
- The first day of acceleration for first semester of school year 2010-2011 is Thursday December 16th. The student must be in school that day all day to receive a full grade.
- The first day of acceleration for second semester of school year 2010-2011 is Thursday May 19th. The student must be in school that day all day to receive a full grade.
A parent must apply in writing for the Acceleration Program 30 days prior to the PCS date as well as supply the registrar with a copy of the PCS orders and a forwarding address. Student records must be requested in advance if they will be hand carried to the next school.
For students PCSing or withdrawing at any other time:
- Notify the registrar in advance and in writing of the student’s last day of attendance. This will ensure that a clearing process can take place and that a withdrawal grade can be given to the student.
- Provide a copy of the PCS orders and a forwarding address.
If student records will be hand carried: Submit a request at least one week prior to the student’s last day of attendance.
