Coastal Storm to Bring Snow to Portions of the East Coast this Weekend

A storm system off the Mid-Atlantic Coast will strengthen as it moves toward the Gulf of Maine on Sunday. The low is forecast to stay far enough off the East Coast to keep most of the heavy snow offshore, but accumulating snow remains possible from the Carolinas to Maine. Winds will become strong in coastal New England on Sunday which could cause blowing snow and reduced visibilities.
