F-22 RaptorOn behalf of the 49th Wing, welcome to the Friendliest Place on Earth. Holloman is located in New Mexico's Tularosa Basin between the Sacramento and San Andreas mountain ranges. The base has been a proud member of the local community since 1942. It's currently home to the F-22A Raptor and more than 30 tenant units.

Alamogordo is the nearest city to Holloman Air Force Base. Many from Team Holloman rely on this city of approximately 35,000 residents for shopping, dining, housing and recreation.

K-12 Schools
There are two Alamogordo Public Schools located on Holloman Air Force Base: Holloman Elementary and Holloman Middle.

There is one public high school, Alamogordo High School, located in downtown Alamogordo.

Advanced
College courses are available on base in a variety of academic disciplines. These courses and programs may lead to associate's, bachelor's or master's degrees. The following institutions are represented:
