DEFLEC90 was the first high-resolution deflection of the vertical model for the United States computed at the National Geodetic Survey. It did not contain data for Alaska, Hawaii nor Puerto Rico. It was derived from GEOID90.
DEFLEC90 was originally published on 5-1/4" floppy disks. It is being made available on the web for historical, investigative purposes only. NGS recommends the use of only our latest deflection of the vertical model. See the NGS geoid page to find the current model.
