Utah Press Connection
Staying connected with Utah constituents is a top priority of mine. One way I feel I can best do that from DC is by reaching out to Utah media outlets, including a regular press teleconference. It allows me to give an update on Senate activities, explain my votes, preview upcoming debates, and answer any questions they might have on any number of issues important to Utahns.
My goal with this regular press conference is to give Utah journalists first-hand information that is timely and easily accessible. I think this is an ideal way to ensure we are all on the same page, and to encourage open communication.
I appreciate the work Utah journalists do to continually keep Utahns informed on issues and legislation being addressed in our nation’s capitol. I look forward to holding these press conferences and keeping in touch with the Utah press.
If you are a member of the Utah Press and would like to be added to our Utah Press Connection contact list, please contact my press secretary, Emily Bennion: Emily_Bennion@lee.senate.gov
