Will late tax legislation affect Free File Fillable Forms? The IRS is unable to process certain tax returns until after February 14. Most people who use Free File Fillable Forms will not be affected by this delay. View the list of supported forms to determine if the forms you need are affected.

  • This program is for federal returns only
  • There are limitations on what you can enter or do with the forms
  • Most, but not all tax forms are supported
  • A tutorial can assist you with creating an account and navigating the program

What do I do when I need help with the program?

  • Consult the Searchable FAQ Document. Type in a key word or phrase to find answers quickly
  • email us. It may take five (5) to seven (7) business days to receive a response 
  • If you can't resolve a rejected return, please copy and paste the entire reason for the rejection in the email and reformat your Submission ID as shown in the Searchable FAQ Document
