ASAP Resources
The Army Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) Resources section offers information on guidelines to commanders, curriculum on prevention education, protocol for drug testing and the Employee Assistance Program. The goal is to expand the capacity of support for Soldiers and the Civilians employed in the various Army communities.
- Commanders
The ASAP is a commander's program designed to monitor and improve the personnel readiness of the unit's Soldiers.
- Unit Prevention Leaders (UPLs)
UPLs have the primary mission of assisting the commander to plan, implement, and execute an outstanding unit level substance abuse program.
- Prevention Tools
Prevention and Training Branch develops, establishes, administers and evaluates Army wide alcohol and drug prevention, education, and training programs.
- Risk Reduction
The Risk Reduction Program supports the Army's Substance Abuse Program initiatives by integrating prevention and intervention programs into a framework contributing to the four institutional outcomes of performance, readiness, retention, and recruiting.
