Letters Back Home

Sometimes it’s easy to forget about all the small moments that add up to a great USO experience, so we love getting notes like this from deployed service men and women.

If you or someone you know is deploying overseas, check out the full range of services we offer for Troops and their families.  Not sure where a USO Center is located?  Check out our Locations Directory and find one near you today!

Letters Back Home: T-Shirt Edition

We’d like to say a huge “Thank You” to all of our donors who made our 4th of July t-shirt campaign such a fantastic success.  We’ve received notes from around the country letting us know how you showed the Troops “I have your back” over the holiday.  This letter really caught our attention and we’re proud to share one USO supporter’s experience.

How did you wear your USO t-shirt on Independence Day?  Send us your letters and pictures – we’d love to share more!

Here’s one of our favorite words at the USO: “Free.”  It can mean different things in different contexts, but we always want to make sure that service members know that our programs and services are always FREE for them.  Today’s “Letter Back Home” reiterates the importance of that word and how just a phone call or a few minutes on the internet can make a big difference.

What’s your favorite USO program or service?  What programs did we offer in the past that you’d like to see available today?  We want to hear your feedback!
