30 New Citizens Naturalized Live on the "Today Show" in New York City
This past Friday, 30 new citizens were naturalized during a very special ceremony held live on the "Today Show" at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
The 30 candidates from around the world wait for the ceremony to begin...
On hand to speak and present the new Americans with Certificates of Naturalization were USCIS Director Alejandro Mayorkas and DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano.

The ceremony, held in conjunction with the week of Veterans Day, honored those who serve, and featured Lee Greenwood singing "God Bless the USA" after the Oath of Allegiance.

Among those to naturalize were members of the U.S. armed forces. Since 2002, USCIS has naturalized 82,000 members of the U.S. military.
