Academic Chess

Learn how to beat your parents at chess. Meets once a week on Tuesdays. Grades 3-6. First Semester Only.

Art Club

Meets once a week on Thursdays. Grades 4-6.

Homework Club


Students will have a quiet place to complete their homework. Meets Mondays until 3:30, Tuesday and Thursday until 4:00. Parents must arrange for transportation home on Monday. Participation is voluntary and students can choose what day they want to participate. Grades 4-6.

Korean American Youth Alliance Traditional Music Class

KAYA provides opportunities to explore and share the cultural experience of Koreans and Americans. It is focused on the whole part of Korean culture such as the Mask Dance, drumming, Korean cooking and field trips to historical sites. Click icon to view video:

Video Production Club

 

Students use school equipment to create short videos of school activities and of other areas of interest around school. Students will learn how to operate cameras and then how to edit the footage to create short films. Meets on Tuesday, Grade 6 and Thursday, Grade 5.

Yearbook

 

Students take photographs, write captions, crop pictures, locate clip art, write copy, and layout pages in the process of creating the school yearbook. It is challenging but rewarding work. Meets on Thursdays. Grades 5-6.
