Philip F. Anschutz named the 2015 Citizen of the West
We are pleased to announce the 37th Citizen of the West, Philip F. Anschutz!
Coming from a farming and ranching background, Mr. Anschutz’s career as a true American entrepreneur began in 1961 when he took over the operations of the Circle A Drilling Company from his father.
Phil started his own company, The Anschutz Corporation, in 1965, and since that time he has achieved success in the fields of communications, transportation, natural resources, real estate, lodging and entertainment.
