Development of UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage Laws Database
The U.S. has contributed $557,695 for the development of UNESCO’s Cultural Heritage Laws Database. Launched in 2005, this online database offers free access to national cultural heritage legislation from UNESCO Member States, through an easy-to-use Website.

Creative Cities Network Capacity Building and Partnership Program
A U.S. Fulbright scholar, Jacqueline Bishop, recently completed her four-month fellowship at UNESCO with a big win: working with the U.S. Mission to UNESCO, she submitted a project proposal that has been awarded $75,000 in funding from the State Department.

Save the Borobudur World Heritage Site
USAID has contributed 100,000 USD in support of the project entitled “Save the Borobudur World Heritage Site”. This is an emergency operation for the safeguarding of the Borobudur Temple compounds from the damaged caused by the Mt. Merapi Eruption.
