The Office of Small Business Programs assists small businesses in obtaining information on
on NAWCTSD
procurements and implements the DOD Small Business Program. Our activity is located in Orlando, Florida.
NAWCTSD procure training systems and life cycle support services for these systems after they are delivered
for the Navy and Marine Corps. The command is responsible for conducting research, development, test and
evaluation, acquisition and logistics support of training systems for their respective Defense Agencies.

Ensures that the contracting agency (NAWCTSD) is in compliance with the acquisition-related sections of the Small Business Act (15 U.S.C. 631, et seq.)
Provides aid, counsel, and assist small businesses, small disadvantaged business concerns,
historically black colleges and universities, and minority institutions, by providing
(a) advice concerning acquisition procedures; (b) information regarding proposed acquisitions; and
(c) information/instruction on preparation of proposals and interpretation of standard
clauses, representations, and certifications.
Maintain an outreach program to locate and identify small and disadvantaged businesses.
Assist small business in ensuring that financial assistance is offered where applicable
and allowable and assist in obtaining payments and information on payment provisions under contracts.
Advises small businesses new to NAWCTSD on the history, mission, and acquisition procedures of
NAWCTSD and recommends points of contact within NAWCTSD.
Makes available a monthly listing of Awarded Contracts to afford small businesses the opportunity to subcontract with prime contractors. See listing of Awarded Contracts at the

Provides lists of Top 20 Contractors in order to assist with subcontracting opportunities.
