Brian Ming Chu

American baritone Brian Ming Chu accompanied by the Ukrainian pianist Leonid Belaieffa presented songs by American composers. The program was the second in a series and included pieces by Charles Ives and William Bolcom, as well as compositions by more familiar composers, including Samuel Barber and Austrian emigrant Erich Wolfgang Korngold. A comprehensive printed program with remarks by Deputy Chief of Mission Christopher Hoh provided the audience an extra insight into the richness, history, and diversity of American music.
